(WWAY) — The North Carolina State Highway Patrol has added a new vehicle to their fleet.
They’ve received 25 marked 2024 Mustangs.
The vehicles will be making their debut in the coming months on interstates across North Carolina.
“History and traditions are an important part of our Patrol Family and the use of Mustangs have their beginnings on the SHP in the 80’s and early 90’s,” a statement read.
The Highway Patrol says the cost of these new vehicles is comparable to other vehicles currently deployed as part of their fleet.
